What is the cost of the course(s) and what methods of payment are accepted? The cost of each course is located in the course catalog. You may pay using all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express). Will I receive any additional materials, in addition to the online class? No, the online course has all the information needed to take and meet the education requirements for the state of Michigan. There will not be any physical materials that will be shipped to you. What is your refund policy? Holloway's Real Estate Institute students who purchase an online class may cancel within 30 calendar days after the date of enrollment. During the registration process, you select your own username and password. It should be something that you can easily remember. You will use the same username and password each time you log in to access your course(s). This information is entered in the returning students section on the home page of the website. If you forget your username and password, you can either email support@fastclass.com or call 1-866-455-3278. Can I take the course from various locations and computers? Our courses are set up for students to access their courses from any computer that is compatible. How does a course work? You take the course at your own pace and on your own time. You can take the course in small increments or all at once. If you exit out of the course, then log back in at a later time, you start back in the lesson that you had been taking. How long will it take me to complete a course? Each course has been approved for a specific number of hours. Depending on the pace you review the course, it may take you less or more time to complete the course. How long do I have access to the course? You have access to the course for up to six months from purchase (no extensions permitted). Can I use the course for review when I'm done? Yes. You can simply log into your account to access the course. Can I print any of the course material for future reference? No. The course is entirely online, so you are unable to print any course materials. Who do I contact if I have questions about the courses? Monday through Friday 9:00am - 7:00pm ET Saturday 10:00am - 3:00pm ET Closed Sunday Course Completion QuestionsWhat do I do if I receive an Incomplete Topic Alert?Sometimes, if you move quickly from one page to the next, the system will not be able to mark that page as read. If you get to the last page in a unit and receive an Incomplete Topic Alert error message that prevents you from continuing, you should open the Index and confirm that every page in the unit has a checkmark. If you see a page without a checkmark, simply select that page and visit it again. You can then use the Index to return to the last page of the unit when all pages are checked and continue with the module. If every page is checked and you still get an error, you can contact Technical Support for assistance. What is required to complete the course? You need to review all of the course content, pass the module quizzes, and take the final exam. You must pass the module quiz with a score of 70% or better in order to be credited with completing the module. You may take the module quiz as many times as necessary in order to pass, but note that you will see new questions and questions in a different order each time that you take it. Once you have passed the module quiz, your status will be updated. When you have finished all of the modules, you will take a final exam of 110 multiple choice questions that have been randomly generated from a larger pool of questions. You are not required to pass this exam with a specific percentage, but you must take the final exam in order to get a completion status for this course and earn your certificate. How do I receive my course completion certificate? At the end of the course, you are able to print a copy of your completion certificate. Remember to print a copy for your records. System Requirements QuestionsDo I need to use a PC to take the online course? What if I have a Macintosh?Hondros Learning courses are developed to run on IBM PC Compatible Computers. While we currently do not support the Macintosh platform, we have knowledge of MAC users who have had success using Firefox as their browser. For additional support with the PC platform, please contact our Technical Support department at 1-888-466-3767. Can I take this course with the AOL browser? No, you cannot. We suggest that you use another browser while signed on with AOL. To do this, log in to AOL and minimize the program. While still connected to the Internet, click on the START button in the lower left hand corner of your screen. Click PROGRAMS, then click INTERNET EXPLORER, the program icon will have a blue "e". Do I need to have sound on my computer to take these classes? While sound is a feature of our courses, it is not necessary for a customer to have sound in order to learn the course material or complete the course. All information played in audio is also displayed in text by the course player. What happens if I get disconnected from the Internet? If you get disconnected from the Internet, you will need to log back into your account. In this case, you will return to the beginning of the lesson you were working on. What happens if I have technical difficulties during the course?
